Notes - The Norpro 6-Count Nonstick Donut Pan is an excellent pan for this (I own three to fit all 18). I use precisely 1/4 cup of batter and they come out PERFECTLY. If you use less than the full stick of butter (1/2 cup) the doughnuts will be dry and make you immediately need something to drink; I don't suggest it.We are still working on the icing (but we're close!).
